Legal Framework<\/h2>\n<p>In accordance with Law 37\/1992 (VAT Law), Article 91, Section 1, Point 8, the reduced VAT rate is applicable to:<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;Flowers, live ornamental plants, as well as seeds, bulbs, cuttings, and other products of strictly plant origin that can be used for their cultivation.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:20px;margin-bottom:20px;width:100%;\"><div class=\"fusion-separator-border sep-single sep-solid\" style=\"--awb-height:20px;--awb-amount:20px;--awb-sep-color:var(--awb-color5);border-color:var(--awb-color5);border-top-width:3px;\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><h2 id=\"product-interpretation\" style=\"color: #1a1a1a; font-size: 30px; font-weight: bold; margin-bottom: 20px;\">2. Product Interpretation and Categorisation<\/h2>\n<p>Drawing on technical and legal assessments, the tax is applied as follows:<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #1a1a1a; font-size: 24px; font-weight: bold; margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 10px;\">A. Natural Flowers<\/h3>\n<p>The reduced rate applies to flowers in any condition, provided they retain their natural origin.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Includes:<\/b> Fresh, dyed, preserved, and dried flowers.<\/li>\n<li><b>Excludes:<\/b> Artificial flowers (which are subject to the standard VAT rate).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"color: #1a1a1a; font-size: 24px; font-weight: bold; margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 10px;\">B. Live Ornamental Plants<\/h3>\n<p>This applies to plants primarily used for decorative purposes. Please note that other types of plants (such as culinary or horticultural ones) also qualify for the reduced rate under different sections of the same law.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Includes:<\/b> Live ornamental plants, mosses, lichens, and algae.<\/li>\n<li><b>Excludes:<\/b> Dried, preserved, and artificial plants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"color: #1a1a1a; font-size: 24px; font-weight: bold; margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 10px;\">C. Bulbs and Seeds<\/h3>\n<p>These fall under the same guidelines as natural flowers and benefit from the reduced rate to promote agricultural production and cultivation.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"color: #1a1a1a; font-size: 24px; font-weight: bold; margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 10px;\">D.
